Dane We all have our wars within. There’s always something that gets to us. For me it’s not something I talk about. It’s not something I ever want to deal with. No one needs to know the story. I figured because of this; I’d live life the way I’ve always done. Free and easy. What I didn’t expect is to find my mate or find that my mate was human. Finding her out in the middle of the night, on a deserted road, trouble surrounding her, I had to do something. When I did, something inside me shifted. I don’t know what, all I knew was I had to protect her. Nothing else mattered. To make matters worse, she was raised by shifters and is the sister to a member of another club.
