CT Cover Creations Turns 10!

And just like that...it's been 10 years. 

​It's been a journey filled with ups and downs. Met a lot of people around the world. Some stayed and some left.

If someone would asks me if I go back in time, will I make the same decision of being a designer? Yes! Definitely yes! Not because it's easy but because it's what I really love doing. It's what I enjoy the most. However, being a designer isn't always rainbows and sunshines.

After doing this for 10 years, I've seen the best side of people as well as the worst side. I've already lost count how many times I(or my art) was disrespected. Numerous clients doing everything they can to avoid paying. People ghosting me as if my time isn't as important as theirs. I'll never understand why there's this thinking that designers are "just" designers. We don't have a magic button that with a single click, it's done. We spend so many years honing our skills.

It's not an overnight thing.
It takes a lot of time and dedication.

​It's the sad reality for most(if not all) designers. If my heart wasn't in this, I would've given up years ago. It's even worse nowadays with AI with people way of thinking like, "Why do they need to pay for a design when they can do it with AI?" But despite it all, I'm still here and it's thanks to those who continue to work with me and appreciate my work. You guys showed me that the world isn't so bad. That there are still good and professional people out there who respects you and what you do. You just have to find your people. Thank you for letting me continue doing what I love the most and for still trusting me with your stories after all these years. 

And to those of you who supports true and human designers, photographers, authors, models, and all types of creative people, thank you. Thank you for letting us continue making art with a heart and soul. And to all the human creatives out there, I hope you'll never stop creating. Someone out there appreciates your work.

No one knows how long I'll be here but one thing I can say is that I'll still be here for quite some time. I still have a long road ahead of me. Well, unless I win the lottery and finally be able to travel around the world. Although even then, I would still be working here and there because creating is what makes me feel alive. It's something that fills my soul. And I hope, the day will never come that I'll lose that.
