I risked my life trying to do the right thing. I thought I was prepared for death, but being trapped inside my mind with only the pain and anger to keep me company is more than I can bear. I should have saved her, but I hesitated. I saw the flames and heard her screams but I didn't move fast enough. Now I must live with that guilt.
